John Robinson

John Robinson has a strong background in engineering and air traffic management. John began their career as a Software Developer at Sterling Software, where they worked from 1994 to 1996. After that, they joined NASA Ames Research Center in 2009, initially serving as an Associate Principle Investigator for Super Density Operations. John then took on roles as the Lead Engineer for Air Traffic Management Technology Demonstration #1 and Concept Lead for UAS Traffic Management. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as the Technical Lead for the SMART-NAS Test Bed, a simulation platform for air traffic concepts. Most recently, they joined Cavan Solutions as a Senior Engineer before being promoted to Chief Engineer in January 2019.

John Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993. John later pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1994.
