Debbie Lucas

Debbie Lucas has extensive experience in the education and training sector, currently serving as Corporate Manager of Training, HS&E at Cavendish Farms since 2007, where responsibilities include developing individualized education programs and providing orientation for new and contract employees. Prior roles at Cavendish Farms include Corporate Training Specialist, Training Supervisor, and Learning Centre Instructor. Earlier experience includes a position as a Substitute Teacher with the Western School Board, where Debbie taught various subjects, including Housing and Child Studies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Social Studies Teacher Education from the University of Maine, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Sociology from Saint Mary's University, a Certificate in Motor Vehicle Repair from Nova Scotia Community College, and ongoing studies at the University of New Brunswick.
