Minna Kaven

Minna Kaven has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology Development and Management. Minna currently holds the position of Head of IT Development, Group IT at Caverion, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Information Technology Development Manager at Caverion from 2021 to 2023.

Before joining Caverion, Minna worked at Produal as the Information Technology Development Manager from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for overseeing the company's IT operations, including architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application development. Minna also played a key role in driving digitalization initiatives and implementing strategic projects.

From 2011 to 2018, Minna worked at Outotec, where they held various roles including Senior Manager, Operational Excellence and Development Manager. In these positions, they led global IT development projects, implemented Agile methodologies, and managed teams.

Minna's earlier experience includes working at Nokia Networks, where they held different managerial positions from 2000 to 2010, focusing on failure report handling, process development, project management, and order configuration.

Minna began their career as a Member of the Board at The National Union of Finnish Polytechnic Students (SAMOK) in 1999.

Minna Kaven completed their education as follows:

- In 1996, they graduated from Kotka High School, where they achieved a High School Graduate/Occupational Qualification in construction completed as a Dual Degree, focusing on Elementary Education and Teaching.

- From 1996 to 2000, Minna pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Industrial Engineering at Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK.

- In 2007 and 2008, they attended Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and earned a Masters of Engineering (M.Eng) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management.

- From 2017 to 2018, Minna studied at Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK, where they obtained a Certified Adult Teacher degree specializing in Teacher Education and Professional Development, Specific Subject Areas.

In addition to their formal education, Minna has acquired several certifications, including Business Technology Standard Practitioner, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Basics in Coaching, SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and IPMA Level C - Certified Project Manager.
