Akash Basak

Akash Basak has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Akash started their career as a Business Development Intern at Yrs Intuitions Consulting, a digital marketing startup, in 2014. Akash then joined Samsung Electronics as an Assistant Sales Manager in 2015. Following that, they worked at Emami Ltd, where they held the positions of Area Sales Manager and National Key Account Manager from 2016 to 2018. During their tenure at Emami, they gained experience in team management and key account handling. In 2018, Akash joined CavinKare as a Senior Brand Manager, where they launched the first direct-to-consumer brand for the company, Buds & berries. Akash was responsible for all aspects of the brand's development and communication, resulting in it becoming the third-largest brand in CavinKare's personal care category within a year. At CavinKare, they currently hold the position of Lead - Digital First brands.

Akash Basak completed their AISSCE degree at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1997 to 2009. Akash then pursued a B.tech degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, graduating in 2013. Afterward, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained their PGDM in Marketing & Strategy.
