Brian Sylvester

Brian Sylvester began their work experience in 1991 as an Engineer at Star-Tek. Brian then worked as an Engineer at 3Com from 1993 to 1996, followed by a role as an Engineer at Agile Networks from 1996 to 1997. From 1997 to 2000, they worked as an Engineer at MMC Networks. In 2000, they joined AMCC as a Principal Engineer, where they worked until 2008. Brian then joined Carbon Design Systems in 2009, starting as a Senior Field Applications Engineer before transitioning to roles as a Principal Engineer and Senior Principal Engineer, specializing in modeling and analyzing DDR memory subsystems. In 2015, they joined Cavium Inc as a Principal Engineer.

Brian Sylvester holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which they obtained in 2009. Brian also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, which they completed between 1987 and 1991.
