Oriel Zambrano Vergara

Oriel Zambrano Vergara has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Labkit as an International Operations. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Global News Intelligence Latinoamérica (GNI) as a Project Leader and Media Data Analyst. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Airfree Produtos Electrónicos SA as a Business Intelligence Analyst. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Itaú Unibanco as a Senior Data Scientist and at Lulo Data as a Data & Partner. Currently, they are working at Cayena as the Head of Data & Analytics, where they are responsible for building, growing and leading a high-end modern data team for streamlining food and deploying and scaling apps like automated credit and products classifiers, data pipelines, recommender systems and other data applications.

Oriel Zambrano Vergara has an extensive education history. Oriel obtained an Economista degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2010, a Big Data Specialization from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2017, and a Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation from Udacity in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications, including AWS Machine Learning Foundations from Udacity in 2021, REST APIs com Python e Flask from Udemy in 2021, Going Places with Spatial Analysis from Esri in 2015, Cálculo de probabilidades from Universidade de São Paulo in 2015, Land Management for Large-Scale Urban Projects from Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in 2014, and Spatial Analysis and geostatistics with GIS from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2013.
