Marco Cornejo

Marco Cornejo has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Marco started their career in 2014 as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at Gameloft. Marco then transitioned to software development and worked at ICONOS Software Development, Inercy, and SPARK technologies as a Software Developer. In 2016, they returned to ICONOS Software Development as a Software Developer and stayed until 2018. Marco then joined Collins Aerospace as a Cloud Engineer before moving to ControlHub as a Back-End & DevOps Engineer. In 2021, they worked at Memberstack (YC S20) as an Infrastructure & DevOps Lead and later joined Mio as a Lead DevOps Engineer. Currently, they are working as an Engineering Manager at Caylent. Throughout their career, Marco has gained expertise in various aspects of software development and devops.

Marco Cornejo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad del Valle de México, from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a High School Diploma from CETYS Universidad, during the period of 2010 to 2013. Marco also holds several additional certifications, including OpenHack: Azure Serverless from Microsoft OpenHack, obtained in March 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in February 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from AWS, obtained in September 2020, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS, obtained in May 2020. Marco has also obtained an EFSET English Certificate with a score of 74/100, indicating proficiency at the CEFR C2 level, from EF Education First.
