Michael Gouin-Hart, MPA, CNPL, CRA

Michael Gouin-Hart has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Michael is currently working as a Professional Services Consultant at Cayuse LLC since January 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs at Grand Valley State University from April 2016 to January 2022. Before that, they worked at Spectrum Health as a Grants Developer/Sponsored Programs Administrator from March 2009 to April 2016. Additionally, they have experience as the Executive Director of the Association of Literary Scholars, Critics, and Writers from January 2004 to March 2009.

Michael Gouin-Hart holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from Grand Valley State University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to this, they completed a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership at the same institution from 2006 to 2008. Michael pursued their undergraduate studies at Kalamazoo College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature with an Emphasis in Writing from 1999 to 2003.

In addition to their academic achievements, Michael Gouin-Hart has obtained several certifications. Michael received certification in Financial Management from the Society of Research Administrators International in October 2013. Michael also holds a certification in Grantsmanship from the same institution, obtained in March 2011. Furthermore, they are a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certified by the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) since June 2018.
