Erin Scott

Erin Scott is an experienced professional in the field of microbiology, currently serving as the Director of Microbiology at CB Therapeutics since November 2018, after holding roles as Associate Director and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes a Scientist II position at Verdezyne, Inc. from March 2011 to May 2018, where contributions involved the production of natural carotenoids, biobased diacids, and biofuels through innovative genetic engineering and enzyme optimization techniques. Erin's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biology from UC San Diego and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, where initial research focused on septin proteins.
