Hao Sha

Hao Sha's work experience includes being a Data Scientist III at CareerBuilder since August 2022 and a Data Scientist at CareerBuilder since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant in both computer science and biophysics at Purdue University from August 2014 to June 2021. While at Purdue, they developed scalable parallel computing applications for modeling HIV capsid self-assembly, performed parameter optimization for protein-protein interactions, and analyzed and visualized experimental data. In 2020, they interned as an Algorithms and Advanced Analytics intern at Roche. In 2013, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology.

Hao Sha has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they earned from 2011 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Biophysics at Purdue University from 2014 to 2016. Recently, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Purdue University from 2018 to 2021.
