Peter Parhas

Peter Parhas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Peter began their career as an Accountant at Parhas & Associates, Ltd. from June 2010 to December 2011. In this role, they prepared income statements for corporate tax clients and assisted in tax returns for personal and corporate clients.

Peter then joined The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. in December 2011 as an Accountant. Here, they were responsible for CAM and RET reconciliations, monitoring general ledger and income statements on property, and preparing and entering budgets. Peter also served as the primary contact for accounting-related matters for Property Managers and Asset Managers until March 2014.

Following this, Peter worked at General Growth Properties (now Brookfield Properties) from April 2014 to September 2016. Peter started as a Property Accountant, preparing balance sheets and income statements for a portfolio of properties. Peter also analyzed and recorded transactions in the company's general ledger and provided explanations for variances. Peter then transitioned into a Financial Analyst role, where they performed complex financial analyses, assisted with ad-hoc analyses and special projects, and forecasted revenue and expenses for over 30 properties.

Currently, Peter is employed at CareerBuilder since September 2016. Peter began as a Senior Financial Analyst, where their responsibilities included preparing budgets and forecasts for various departments, maintaining the Capital Expenditures forecast, and creating consolidated reporting packages. Peter then moved up to the position of Finance Manager, followed by Senior Finance Manager. Presently, they hold the role of Director of Finance since May 2023.

Peter Parhas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Illinois State University, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. In 2017, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Real Estate Broker from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
