Miranda Shek

Miranda Shek has a diverse work experience in communications and journalism. Miranda is currently the Managing Director of Communications at CBC Group. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of International Communications at Pinduoduo from 2019 to 2021. Miranda also held roles at Ant Financial, where they served as a Senior Advisor and Head of International Communications from 2015 to 2018. Before that, they worked as a Senior Manager of International Public Relations at JD.COM and as a Producer in the International Business Department at China Business Network. Miranda began their career as a Copy Editor at Global Times and later worked as a Reporter/TV Presenter at International Channel Shanghai and as a Presenter at Commercial Radio Hong Kong.

Miranda Shek obtained a BSc in Journalism and Communications from The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended Durham University from 2000 to 2003. Miranda completed their International Baccalaureate at Li Po Chun United World College from 1998 to 2000.
