Ryan Bent serves as a Board Trustee and Elected Governing Board Member for the North Orange County Community College District since November 2016, having previously held the position of Board President in 2020 and recognized as the "Orange County Community College Trustee of the Year" in 2017. Additionally, Ryan holds a position on the Customer Experience Advisory Board at UC Irvine since January 2023 and serves as a Library Commissioner for the City of Yorba Linda since March 2015. Educational qualifications include ongoing pursuit of a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration & Leadership at Liberty University, completion of an Educational Specialist degree with High Distinction, an MBA from Colorado State University, a Master Certificate in Federal Financial Management, and a Master of Public Administration with Honors. Ryan also has a foundational background in Business Administration with degrees from California State University, Fullerton, and Fullerton College, complemented by corporate training from Disney University.
