Rebekah Huffman is a Critical Intervention Specialist at CBEM LLC. Rebekah has also worked as a Patient Care Manager at Dignity Health St. Mary's Medical Center, a Crisis Transition Coordinator at Exodus Recovery Inc, and an MSW Graduate Intern at the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services and Long Beach Public Library.

Rebekah has a passion for helping others and has dedicated their career to working with individuals who are experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, and linkage to services for all as needed. As a pilot program within the city, they have helped to establish partnerships with service providers already existing within the city to better provide continuity of care. Rebekah has also worked with library staff to provide services to patrons from a trauma informed perspective and working to support staff experiencing vicarious trauma.

Rebekah Huffman has a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from California State University, Long Beach in the field of Adult and Aging. Rebekah also has a Bachelor of Science - BS from University of Phoenix in the field of Human Services. Rebekah completed their undergrad requirements at San Bernardino Valley College in Human Services. Rebekah also has certification from Womens Shelter of Long Beach in Domestic Violence Advocate, Crisis Prevention Institute in Crisis Prevention, Orange County Behavioral Health Services in 5150/5585, and Mental Health America in Mental Health First Aid.

They are on a team with Janae Harris - Critical Intervention Specialist, Veronica Orellana - Critical Intervention Specialist, and Janiss Hernandez - Critical Intervention Specialist. Rebekah Huffman reports to Elizabeth Ho, Program Director, Long Beach Team.
