Kamal Geeganage

Kamal Geeganage has extensive work experience in the supply chain and manufacturing sectors. Kamal currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ceylon Biscuits Limited (Foods) International, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the General Manager- Integrated Supply Chain at the same company from November 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Ceylon Biscuits Limited, Kamal worked at Fonterra Brands Sri Lanka from 2015 to 2020. During their time there, they held various roles including Director - Integrated Supply Chain from May 2018 to November 2020, Associate Director - Supply Chain & Customer Service from March 2017 to May 2018, and Head Of Supply Chain & Customer Service from October 2015 to February 2017.

Kamal also has previous experience at Fonterra Brands Lanka, where they served as the Head of Manufacturing from February 2014 to September 2015. Prior to that, they held positions such as Plant Manager from November 2011 to January 2014, Production Manager from October 2010 to October 2011, and Project Manager from May 2008 to October 2010.

Throughout their career, Kamal has demonstrated expertise in areas such as operations management, supply chain optimization, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

Kamal Geeganage has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Australian Institute of Business, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Before that, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management from the University of Colombo from 2010 to 2011, with a focus on Manufacturing Management. Earlier, from 1998 to 2002, Kamal received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Colombo. Kamal'ssecondary education took place at Nalanda College, although specific dates and details are not available.
