Alicia Ameduri has a diverse background in human resources, with experience in both managerial and project roles. Alicia most recently served as the Head of People at CBM Australia starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Human Resources at Innovation Group Australia from May 2018 to February 2023. Alicia also worked as a Human Resources Manager at Flex from June 2016 to May 2018 and as an HR Service Partner at mecwacare from January 2016 to June 2016. Alicia gained earlier experience as a Human Resources Manager at First State Super from June 2013 to 2015, as an HR Consultant and Project Manager from July 2012 to June 2013, and as an HR Coordinator from 2008 to July 2012. Alicia Ameduri completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in History, Politics from the University of Melbourne in 2005. Alicia then pursued a Masters degree in Diplomacy from the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification in Mercer IPE from Mercer in 2014. Alicia also has a certification in Prince 2 Foundation, although the institution and year of completion are not specified.

In emergencies, people with disabilities are often the worst impacted and face a higher risk of being injured or losing their lives during a disaster.
