Edward Downey

Edward Downey has worked at various companies in different roles throughout their career. Edward started their professional journey at the University of Essex as a Porter in 2014, where they were responsible for cleaning, refuse management, and manual handling. In 2015, they joined NHS North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG as an Assistant Finance Officer, where they provided financial advice and prepared monthly financial reports. In 2016, they worked as an Assistant Accountant at Langham Hall, where they handled tasks such as bank reconciliations, updating financial systems, and preparing management accounts and financial statements. In 2017, Edward joined CBRE Investment Management as a Portfolio Accountant, managing portfolios' financial accounts. Over the years, they worked their way up to become a Senior Analytics Associate, where they utilized their skills and expertise in analytics.

Edward Downey has a comprehensive education history. Edward began their academic journey in 2009 at QEH, where they studied a range of subjects including Mathematics, History, Biology, and English Language until 2011. Following this, Edward attended Bangor University from 2011 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance. Edward then pursued further education at the University of Essex from 2013 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Finance. In terms of certifications, Edward obtained their ACCA certification from the ACCA institution in November 2022.
