Filiz Yakar

Filiz Yakar has extensive work experience in finance and business analysis. Filiz started their career in 1995 with various roles in different companies. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Junior Business Analyst at Avery Dennison. Filiz then worked as a Financial Reporting Analyst at Applied Biosystems from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they held roles at Nike EMEA, including WE Business Planning Analyst and WE Snr Business Analyst G2N. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Business Controller at TomTom. Filiz then moved to Reed Elsevier as a Business Controller from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Regional Controller at Scandinavian Hospitality Management. Filiz then joined Staples as a Snr. Business Partner / Controller Europe (FP&A) from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Snr. Corporate Controller EMEA HQ at CBRE Investment Management.

Filiz Yakar's education history begins in 1990 when they attended Aegean University in Izmir, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Mathematics in 1994. Filiz then enrolled in the University of Hull in London from 1999 to 2001, completing the International Management Program and earning a PG degree. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they attended the University of Greenwich and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in International Finance.

Additionally, Filiz Yakar has obtained a certification in Leading Change from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, in May 2021.
