Lamin Jarjusey has a solid work history in security and law enforcement. Lamin began their career as a Police Officer in The Gambia Police Force in 1996, where they served in various units, including close protection of VIPs and Diplomats. In 2006, they transitioned to the private sector and worked as a Security Supervisor for Reliance Security Services Ltd. Lamin'sresponsibilities included patrolling the premises, monitoring CCTV cameras, and attending security meetings. In 2008, Lamin became a Security Operation Manager at Carillion before joining M & G Security in 2011 as a Security Supervisor, specifically working at an NHS Walk-in Centre. In 2014, they joined CBRE Global Investors EMEA as a Security Officer.

Lamin Jarjusey completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Arden University between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued an Extended Diploma Level 3 in Computer Software Engineering and Networking at New College Nottingham from 2013 to 2015. In 2011 and 2012, Lamin Jarjusey obtained a Level 2 Diploma in ICT Computing from the same institution. Furthermore, they obtained a Diploma in policing, maintain law and order from Gambia Police College in 1996 and 1997, specializing in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, and Related Protective Services.
