Michael Armstrong

Michael Armstrong has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michael currently works as an Investment Analyst in the Global Listed Real Assets division at CBRE Investment Management since April 2022. Prior to this, they were an Analyst in Infrastructure and Project Finance at Transport for NSW from August 2021 to April 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Michael worked at Deloitte Australia. Michael held multiple roles including Senior Analyst in Audit & Assurance from July to August 2021, Experienced Analyst in M&A Transaction Services from March to June 2021, Experienced Analyst in Audit & Assurance from July 2020 to March 2021, Analyst in Audit & Assurance from July 2019 to July 2020, and Graduate in Audit & Assurance from March 2018 to June 2019.

Additionally, Michael gained experience as a Secretary at the University of Wollongong Banking and Accounting Society from February 2016 to July 2017. Michael also interned at Deloitte Australia as an Assurance and Advisory Intern from November 2016 to February 2017, and at Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand as a Student Representative from February 2016 to February 2017. Lastly, they worked as a Tax Intern at Deloitte Australia from November 2015 to February 2016.

Michael Armstrong completed their Higher School Certificate at Illawarra Christian School from 2011 to 2013. Michael then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business Law at the University of Wollongong from 2014 to 2017. After that, from 2018 to 2021, they attended Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand where they earned a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting with a specialization in Accounting. Currently, Michael is a CFA Level II Candidate at the CFA Institute.
