Rob Ogle has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Rob started their career in 1999 as a Sr. Systems Engineer at GE Capital, IT Solutions, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of an Identity Management solution. During their time at GE, they also led a server rationalization project that significantly reduced the number of production web application servers.
In 2001, Rob joined CBTS as a Sr. Network Engineer/Supervisor. In this role, they were responsible for the design, implementation, and support of network and information security infrastructure. Rob performed security audits, led transformation strategies, and gathered forensics data for incident investigations. Rob also served as the IT Infrastructure architect for a China/US joint venture in the aviation manufacturing industry.
In 2011, Rob was promoted to Operations Manager, Advanced Engineering at CBTS. Rob led a service delivery department providing voice, network, and field services support for managed services. Rob was recognized with the CinBell Encore Award for their contribution to the success of a global voice support program for a consumer products customer.
In 2013, Rob took on the role of Sr. Network Sales Engineer at CBTS. Rob translated pre-sales customer requirements into IT solutions, developing business cases and financial models for security technologies and information services.
Finally, in 2014, Rob was appointed Sr. Director of Global Programs at CBTS. Rob became the leader of the largest segment of CBTS's global enterprise services business, focusing on network and information security infrastructure. Rob developed the vision, financial plans, and product strategy for the enterprise solutions, including "as a Service" enabling tools, infrastructure solutions, applications, and professional services.
Rob Ogle received their education from various academic institutions. From 1989 to 1994, they attended the University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, completing a Master of Science degree in Finance and an MBA specializing in Finance and High-Technology from 2008 to 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Rob also obtained several certifications. Rob obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in April 2012. In April 2010, they received the ITIL v3 Foundations certification from EXIN. Furthermore, Rob holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they obtained in October 2004. Rob also has additional certifications from Cisco, including CCDP and CCNP, as well as the CCSE certification from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. Finally, Rob has completed the JNCIA-Junos certification offered by Juniper Networks, although the specific dates of their attainment are not provided.
