William Pitt

William Pitt has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. William currently works at CCQ - Country to Coast QLD as the Deputy Director of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manager in the same field. William also has experience as a Manager in MHAOD Commissioning, where they focused on strategic commissioning of mental health, suicide prevention, and drug services.

Before joining CCQ, William worked as an Academic Tutor at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and as a Senior Social Worker at Queensland Health, specializing in suicide prevention for the Indigenous Health Division.

Earlier in their career, they worked at the Department of Youth Justice as a Court Coordinator and Case Worker. Additionally, William has also been self-employed, working as an Outdoor Instructor and a Freelance Journalist/Digital Content Creator, with experience in delivering programs for youth cohorts and working as a photographer in the Middle East and South Asia regions.

William Pitt completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in New Media and Production with a minor in Journalism at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2008 to 2011. Later, from 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Social Work at the same institution.
