Roberto Egydio Setubal

Mr. Setubal holds a degree in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), in 1977, and a master’s degree in Science Engineering from Stanford University, in 1979. He has been serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors (Non-Executive Director) and Member of the Strategy and New Business Committee of Itaúsa, since May 2021, where he also served as Vice President, from May 1994 to May 2021. He was Chair of the Accounting Policies Committee, from August 2008 to April 2011. At ltaú Unibanco Holding S.A., he has been serving as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors, since June 2017, as Member of the Strategy Committee, since August 2009, as Member of the Risk and Capital Management Committee, since June 2008, and as CEO since May 2017. He also served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors (non-executive member), from March 2003 to April 2017, as CEO from November 1994 to April 2017, in addition to having served as Chair of the International Advisory Board, from March 2003 to April 2009, and as Member of the People Committee, from August 2009 to May 2017. He also served as Member of the Nomination Committee, from May 2006 to April 2009, as Member of the Compensation Committee, from May 2006 to April 2009, and as Member of the Accounting Policies Committee, from May 2008 to April 2009. Mr. Setubal also holds positions in the following third sector organizations: National Federation of Banks – FENABAN, where he served as President, from April 1997 to March 2001, at the National Association of Banks – FEBRABAN, where he served as President, from April 1997 to March 2001, and as Chair of the Advisory Board, from October 2008 to March 2017. He has also been a Member of the Board of the International Monetary Conference, since 1994, a Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, since 2002, a Member of the Trilateral Commission and International Council of the NYSE, since April 2000, a Member of the China Development Forum, since 2010, in addition to having been a Member of the Economic and Social Development Board of the Presidency of the Republic (CDES), since November 2016.
