Rita M. Iosefson

Assistant Vice President at CCS Fundraising

Rita has nearly a decade of fundraising experience in the healthcare, cultural, and higher education sectors. She has significant experience leading major, principal, and endowment gift strategies, developing proposals for individuals and foundations, securing transformative funding from government agencies, coaching and liaising with executive leadership, and planning and executing large scale commemorations and fundraising galas.

Prior to joining CCS, Rita was the Director of Development for the New York Region at Hadassah, served in multiple roles (including Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Major Gifts) at the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust (New York’s Holocaust museum), and provided executive-level support to the Alumni and President’s Offices of Long Island University.

Rita earned her BS in Elementary Education and Sociology and MSEd in Elementary Literacy from Long Island University (LIU-Post). She will earn her MBA with a concentration in Strategic Management in December 2022 from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.
