Gerben Horst

Gerben Horst is a seasoned professional in public affairs with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Public Affairs at GGD GHOR Nederland and a candidate for the European Parliament through the CDA, Gerben contributes to public policy discussions at multiple levels. As a Guest Lecturer at Leiden University, Gerben imparts knowledge on internal lobbying, while also holding longstanding roles as a Municipal Councillor and Fractievoorzitter for CDA Nieuwegein, focusing on energy transition and sustainability. Previous positions include leadership roles at the Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy, UWV, and CNV, where Gerben managed teams and developed public affairs strategies. Gerben holds a Master of Science in Governance and Organizational Science from Leiden University and has completed various other educational programs.
