CDC Foundation
Erin Edgerton Norvell serves as the Digital Director at the CDC Foundation, overseeing digital strategy for a nonprofit that collaborates with the CDC to enhance public health. In addition, Erin Edgerton Norvell is the Executive Director of the Alliance of Schools and Colleges of Communication and Journalism, promoting collaboration among communication and journalism programs. Previous leadership roles include Executive Director of the Society for Health Communication, Founder and Principal Strategist of Digital Edge Communications, and Senior Director for Communication Strategy and Digital Solutions at Danya International. Erin Edgerton Norvell also holds experience in strategic communications within notable government positions, including the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy and the Office of Digital Strategy. Erin Edgerton Norvell earned an M.A. in Health Communications from Emerson College and a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Maryland.
