Sherani R. Jagroep, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in public health analysis and program evaluation. Currently serving as a Public Health Analyst at the CDC Foundation, Sherani focuses on the Overdose Response Strategy within North Carolina's Division of Public Health. Previous roles include Program Coordinator and Evaluator at Sherani Jagroep Consulting LLC, where support was provided for overdose prevention education in jails, and Public Health Analyst/Epidemiologist supporting opioid surveillance initiatives. Sherani's past experience also encompasses research and evaluation roles with organizations such as Vital Wave, Ipas, Physicians for Reproductive Health, and various other public health initiatives. Sherani holds a Master of Public Health in Evaluative Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Biology from St. John's University.
