Callee Walsh

Callee Walsh is an accomplished professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology, currently serving as an Associate Service Fellow and Research Chemist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since January 2021. Prior experience includes managing the BioNano Research Facility at West Virginia University from September 2018 to December 2020, focusing on mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics. Previously, Callee Walsh held the position of Lead Scientist and Manager of Mass Spectrometry Imaging at Protea Biosciences from January 2011 to September 2019, along with a post-doctoral research associate role at West Virginia University during 2009-2010. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from West Virginia University (2004-2009), a Master of Science in Animal Science from Cornell University (2002-2004), and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from West Virginia University (1998-2002).
