Jessica Meeker, PhD, MPH, currently serves as a Senior Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team in the Division of Reproductive Health since July 2021. As an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service, Jessica holds the rank of Lieutenant and has been in this position since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Doctoral Candidate in Epidemiology and Coordinator of the Research Translation Core at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where research efforts concentrated on data mining from Electronic Health Records and exploring associations between social environments and maternal health outcomes. Jessica obtained a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College.
