Austin Bedford is a skilled conversation designer and UX designer with extensive experience in optimizing digital assistants and chatbot solutions across various organizations. At Intuit, Austin achieved an 80% reduction in gaps for QuickBooks Online Digital Assistant while leading conversation design improvements for the 2024 strategy. Previously, at Salesforce, Austin contributed to significant advancements in API automation services through the exploration of Einstein Bot Builder and helped establish guidelines for Salesforce and Slack bot integration. Austin's experience also includes UX and product design roles at Stanford University, Expose, PagersDirect, ulta.io, Hirekind, FilmHero, ROUGH HOUSE, and DESIGN EQUATION LTD, demonstrating a strong foundation in user experience and product development. Austin holds bachelor’s degrees in Japanese Language and Literature from San Francisco State University and Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, along with a User Experience Design Immersive certification from General Assembly.
