Chris Turner

Chris Turner is an accomplished data engineering professional with extensive experience in building and optimizing data platforms and cloud solutions. Currently serving as the Lead Data Engineer at CDL Software since November 2021, Chris focuses on developing a new Data Platform utilizing Big Data technologies and Cloud resources. Previously, Chris worked at NHS Digital as a Senior Systems Engineer, leading the migration of development servers to AWS and implementing an Internet Gateway solution. Additionally, Chris held a position as a Senior BI Engineer at CDL Software, where expertise in AWS services and infrastructure as code was applied. Prior to that, Chris developed in-house applications as a Systems Developer at Priestley College and worked as a Costa Coffee Team Member at ODEON Cinemas Group. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
