Thijs Jonkman

Thijs Jonkman has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Project Engineer at CEAD Group since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SPIE Nederland as an Operational trainee from September 2021 to October 2022.

Thijs also gained experience as a Graduate Intern at KVE Composites Group from November 2020 to July 2021, where they worked on the design and computational analysis of a spotweld end-effector for carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic structures.

Before that, they had an internship at ZEF B.V. - Zero Emission Fuels from September 2019 to February 2020, and at Vabi Software B.V. from September 2018 to February 2019.

Thijs's work experience also includes a role as a Night Porter at Suitehotel Pincoffs from March 2016 to February 2019, where they were responsible for the safety of the hotel during the night and performed reception and bar duties. Thijs also worked as a Work Student at Ampelmann Operations from April 2015 to September 2015.

Overall, Thijs has gained valuable experience in various roles, showcasing their expertise in engineering, internships, and hospitality.

Thijs Jonkman earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. In September 2021, they also obtained the VOL-VCA certification from Visma PlusPort.
