Kumar Subbiah

Kumar Subbiah has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and supply chain management. Kumar is currently the Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer at CEAT Tyres Limited since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President at CEAT Limited from 2015 to 2016. Before joining CEAT, Kumar had a long tenure at Unilever, where they held several key positions. Kumar was the Finance Director for South East Asia & Australasia Supply Chain from 2012 to 2015, responsible for improving profitability, financial control processes, and implementing strategic initiatives. Kumar also served as the Global Procurement & Commodity Risk Management Director from 2008 to 2012, overseeing global material strategies and supplier relationships. Prior to that, they were the Finance & Capabilities Head for Asia Procurement from 2005 to 2008, driving financial processes and capabilities across 17 countries in the region. Kumar's career at Unilever began in 2003 as a Senior Finance Manager for the Home Care business, where they played a critical role in pricing, cost management, and supply chain optimization. Kumar later became a Finance Manager for a profit center and a Strategic Business Unit, handling P&L, business planning, and financial processes. Before their tenure at Unilever, Kumar worked as a Factory Accountant & Commercial Manager for Tea & Coffee at Hindustan Unilever Limited from 1994 to 1998.
