Steve Lawlor, CISSP, CISM, CISA, PCIP

Steve Lawlor, CISSP, CISM, CISA, PCIP has a comprehensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Steve currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Cecelia Health since July 2022.

Prior to this, they served as the Director of Information Security at ConnectYourCare from March 2017 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for security and compliance programs supporting HITRUST, PCI, SOC 1, and SOC 2.

Before joining ConnectYourCare, Steve worked as the CISO at Sisu Healthcare IT Solutions from July 2016 to March 2017. Steve managed the vendor compliance program with MEDITECH EMR and made significant improvements in security policies and vulnerability management programs.

Starting their career at Change Healthcare in February 1997, Steve progressed through multiple IT roles as the company grew to $1.3B in revenue. Steve played a direct role in 17 acquisitions during their tenure as Director of IT, which ended in October 2015.

Steve Lawlor, CISSP, CISM, CISA, PCIP has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Denver. Steve also holds an Associate's Degree from Paul Smith's College. In addition, Steve has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Butler University.

Steve has obtained multiple certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in January 2021, Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in November 2016, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in May 2016. Steve is also a Payment Card Industry Professional certified by the PCI Security Standards Council since May 2018, and a Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) since June 2021. Furthermore, Steve holds the PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certification from the PCI Security Standards Council, which they obtained in May 2022.
