Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Organizational Strategy at Strayer University from 2014 to 2016. In 2011 to 2013, Jay earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Lesley University.

Besides their formal education, Jay also holds various certifications. In March 2017, they obtained certification in First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. Additionally, in February 2017, they became certified as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor through the American Red Cross.
