Jaime Moriguchi

Jaime Moriguchi is a seasoned cardiologist with extensive experience in advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support. Currently serving as a Cardiologist and Medical Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since January 2010, Jaime Moriguchi specializes in left ventricular assist devices, artificial heart technology, heart transplantation, immunosuppressive therapy, and heart biopsies. Additionally, Jaime Moriguchi has been a Senior Partner at University Cardiovascular Medical Group since July 1986, contributing to a group focused on general cardiology and advanced heart conditions. Previous roles include Medical Director of the VAD program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center from July 2000 to January 2010, and various positions in leadership at UCLA Health System and Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center from 1986 to 2010. Jaime Moriguchi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University, completed in 1977.
