Javier Povo

Javier Povo is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Socio at Pérez-Llorca since June 2023. With a robust background in tax law, Javier has been a habitual lecturer in tax specialization courses at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros since November 2011 and a collaborative professor in the Master's program in Tax Advisory at the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de la UCM since January 2022. Javier holds memberships in the Procedure Tax Group and the Expert Group on Rights and Guarantees within the Asociación Española de Asesores Fiscales (AEDAF) since January 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Tax Partner and Senior Lawyer at GTA Villamagna Abogados, a lawyer at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo, Baker & McKenzie, and Landwell PricewaterhouseCoopers. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Taxation and Tax Advisory and an advanced specialization in tax procedures from CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros, complemented by a degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
