Marcel van Amerongen

Marcel van Amerongen has extensive experience in the chemical industry, primarily with Celanese since August 1985, where currently serving as Vice President. Marcel has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Cellulose Acetate Tow and Vice President for Corporate Business Development, overseeing global mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Marcel has served as a board member for several companies, including Ibn Sina and Nantong, Zhuhai, Kunming Cellulose National companies. Marcel also contributes to the European Chemical Industry Council as an Executive Committee and Board of Directors member. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Nyenrode Business University.
