Bert Gilis

Bert Gilis is an experienced professional in information security and architecture, currently serving as Lead Information Security Officer and Security & Privacy Officer at Cegeka since February 2020. Previously, Bert held several key roles at Colruyt Group from January 1996 to February 2020, including Security Architect, Team Manager IT Solution Architecture & Information Security, IT Security Manager, Infrastructure Manager, and Security Officer. Expertise includes security architecture methodology based on TOGAF and ArchiMate, governance policies under ISO27001, IAM project steering, risk management, and managing teams of architects and security officers. Bert holds a Master's Degree in Nuclear Energy, Chemistry, and Environmental Technology from Hasselt University (1990-1994).
