Chatonnier Cassandre is a seasoned academic and consultant with extensive experience in theatre design and Indigenous cultural development. Currently serving as a Professor at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe since January 2017, Chatonnier has also worked on significant consulting projects, including the creation of a best practices guide for organizing pow-wows in collaboration with Indigenous communities and producing a report for the Wendake International Pow-Wow to support respectful tourism development. A skilled set designer, Chatonnier has contributed to various theatrical productions throughout the years. Educationally, Chatonnier holds a PhD in Urban Studies from the Institut national de la recherche scientifique, a Master of Arts in Theatre from UQAM, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Concordia University, and a technical diploma in Interior Design from École Boulle.
