François MÉRO has a strong work experience in the field of sales and leadership roles. François currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Cegid since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the GM- CPA & SMB Markets at Cegid from July 2018 to March 2023.
Before joining Cegid, François worked at Talend (TLND) where they held several senior positions. These include being the GM & SVP of Sales EMEA from January 2014 to June 2018, Senior VP of Global Sales from January 2011 to December 2013, and VP, General Manager EMEA from March 2007 to December 2010. Their experience at Talend allowed him to witness the emergence of Open Source and subscription business models in the Enterprise market and be at the forefront of the data-driven revolution.
François also served as a Board Member and President of the Big Data Committee at Tech In France from January 2014 to June 2017. Prior to that, they worked at ASG as the VP of Sales Metadata Solutions from March 2004 to November 2006. François joined ASG after the company took over SOAMAI, where they served as the Executive VP of Sales and was responsible for direct sales operations in Europe and international indirect operations.
Before their tenure at ASG and SOAMAI, François worked as the Director of Sales at ROSS Systems from April 1997 to July 2000, Sales Manager at Parametric Technology Corporation from November 1995 to April 1997, and Sales Manager at Sage from October 1991 to November 1995.
Overall, François has had a successful career with extensive experience in various sales and leadership roles in the technology and software industry, particularly in the areas of data integration, data integrity, and metadata solutions.
François MÉRO completed a Master's degree in Business and Economy from OMNES Education between 1988 and 1990. François also pursued studies in Sales and Marketing, obtaining a Higher National Diploma (H&D) in the subject from DUT Techniques Commercialisation during the period of 1986 to 1988. Additionally, they briefly attended Roosevelt University in 1989, focusing on Marketing and Innovation without receiving a degree.
