Miguel Dancausa Vicent

Miguel Dancausa Vicent has extensive work experience in the legal field. Miguel started their career as a Legal Intern at Dancausa Treviño Abogados from 2002 to 2005. Miguel then worked as a Jr. Legal Counsel at Corporación Dermoestética, S.A. in 2006, where they negotiated with patients and managed administrative files. Miguel also worked as a Lawyer at Legalitas Asistencia Legal, S.L. from 2006 to 2008, advising on a wide range of civil and consumer matters. Miguel then joined Ernst & Young Abogados, S.L. as a Junior Associate in 2008. After that, they worked as a Senior Associate at CARVAJAL ABOGADOS SL, a boutique law firm specializing in corporate and commercial law. Miguel provided legal advice to IT companies and handled corporate and commercial aspects. In 2012, Miguel became the Corporate Head of Legal | Iberia & LatAm at Meta4 Spain S.A., leading the Legal and Compliance functions for the company's operations in Iberia and Latin America. Most recently, they became the Head of Iberia Legal Affairs at Cegid in 2019. In this role, they are responsible for all legal affairs in the Iberian region, including commercial, IP, data privacy, dispute, and governance matters.

Miguel Dancausa Vicent attended Esade in 2022, where they completed the Programa de Legal Operations, focusing on Legal Operations. In 2010, they obtained a specialist degree in Derecho de Sociedades Mercantiles from CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros. In 2006, they pursued a Master's degree in Business & Energy Law from ISE & Fundación Repsol YPF. In 2003, they received an Erasmus Scholarship to study at Università degli Studi di Teramo, specializing in Facoltà di Giurispudenza. Additionally, they obtained a Licenciatura in Derecho from Universidad de Burgos in 2004.
