Silvia Baschwitz

Silvia Baschwitz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Silvia started their career as a professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and later at Comillas, teaching courses on Intellectual Property and Tech Law. In 2010, Silvia founded their own law firm, Baschwitz Abogados, where they advised international clients on legal matters related to technology, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and compliance.

In 2018, Silvia joined UGROUND GLOBAL as Deputy CEO, leading business development and sales efforts for the company's no-code technology platform. Silvia then served as an Advisory Board Member for Nardello & Co., a global leader in corporate investigations, where they helped drive growth strategy and explored new business opportunities.

Silvia also served as an Advisor for ACTICO, a company specializing in digital transformation, and FORBES España, where they provided guidance in a strategic capacity. Silvia was also an Advisory Board Member for Confederación Empresarial Navarra (CEN), an influential business association.

In 2021, Silvia took on the role of Chief of Communication, Public Affairs & ESG for Iberia, Latam & Africa at Grupo Primavera, which was later acquired by Cegid. In 2023, they were promoted to Chief of Communication, IIRR, and ESG for Cegid in the same regions, where they report directly to the regional CEO.

Silvia Baschwitz has a diverse education history. In 2023, they completed an Executive Program in Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2021, they attended the Fundacion Rafael del Pino for an Executive Program focused on Sustainability & SDG goals. The same year, they also completed a Directors Program in Corporate Governance at Esade and a Finance for Senior Executives program at IESE Business School. In 2020, Silvia participated in several programs, including an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence course at IBM, a Futures Thinking Specialization in Strategic Foresight and design futures at the Institute for the Future, and the PowerMBA Program at thePower, specializing in Business Administration. Prior to these programs, Silvia completed a PADDB - Digital Business Program for Senior Executives at The Valley Digital Business School in 2017 and a Business Angels Program at the University of Deusto. In 2005, they took part in an Executive Program on Entertainment Law at IE Business School, focusing on legal perspectives related to television, cinema, music, videogames, sports, and the internet. In 2002 and 2003, Silvia pursued an LLM on Intellectual Property at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, covering topics such as copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, internet, and new technologies. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Law at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which they completed between 1997 and 2002.
