Heather Williams, MPH, RDN has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Heather is currently working as a Clinical Data Manager at Celerion since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Dietetic Intern at the University of Michigan School of Public Health from July 2021 to February 2022.

In 2014, Heather started their own business as a Statistics Tutor, helping college students with one-on-one concept practice and exam preparation. Heather designed personalized programs to target test anxieties and establish sustainable study techniques until December 2021.

From May 2020 to July 2021, Heather worked as a Community Food Programs Intern at Food Gatherers, where they coordinated data management and developed a relational database for program evaluation.

Heather also gained experience as a Dietetic Technician at Michigan Medicine from August 2019 to September 2020, assisting patients with specific diet orders and educating them on diet modification for cardiac health.

From June 2017 to August 2019, Heather worked as a Career Coach at OhioGuidestone, managing a caseload of young adult clients and providing job placement support and career readiness preparation.

Prior to that, they served as a City Year AmeriCorps Member at City Year Cleveland from July 2016 to June 2017, mentoring and tutoring students in math, English, and behavioral goal-setting.

Heather's earlier experiences include being an REU Research Intern and Laboratory Assistant at Rabosky Theoretical and Applied Macroevolution Lab, where they collected morphological data and analyzed large datasets using R. Heather also worked as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant at the Cognition and Aging Lab, managing incentive payments, conducting cognitive tasks, and analyzing PET and EEG data.

In addition, Heather worked as a Kid's Camp Counselor at the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan in the summer of 2014.

Heather Williams, MPH, RDN has a strong educational background in the field of nutrition and public health. Heather obtained their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts in 2016 with a major in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience.

During their undergraduate years, Heather also pursued additional studies in related fields. Heather participated in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology program at the University of Michigan Biological Station in 2013, as well as the Environmental Science program at the University of Michigan Geological Station starting in 2012.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Heather has obtained several certifications that showcase their expertise and commitment to the field. Heather is a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), certified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, obtained in June 2022. Heather has also completed the Human Subjects Social and Behavioral Sciences Module and Certification Test from the University of Michigan PEERRS in September 2013, ensuring their adherence to ethical research practices. Furthermore, they have obtained the OSEH General Laboratory Safety Training certification from the University of Michigan OSEH in May 2015, highlighting their knowledge of laboratory safety protocols. Finally, Heather is also certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED by the American Red Cross, received in March 2014.
