Angelina Totović

Angelina Totović has a diverse work experience in the field of Photonics and Electromagnetics. Angelina is currently working as a Photonics Engineer at Celestial AI since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Researcher at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from September 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they focused on Neuromorphic Photonics and Photonics for AI and Machine Learning, conducting theoretical research and participating in various H2020 projects. Angelina was also a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering from March 2012 to October 2018. Additionally, they gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at Università degli Studi di Padova for a brief period in September-October 2016. Angelina started their career as an Engineer Intern at Vip mobile d.o.o. in July-August 2011 and later worked as a Research Intern at the Institute of Physics Belgrade in February-April 2011.

Angelina Totović completed their education in a chronological manner as follows:

From 2013 to 2018, they attended the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Nanoelectronics and Photonics.

From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master’s Degree at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, and laser technique.

Between 2007 and 2011, Angelina obtained their Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, and laser technique.

Prior to their higher education, from 2003 to 2007, they attended Prva Kragujevačka Gimnazija, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Mathematical-Scientific subjects.

In addition to their formal education, Angelina Totović has also acquired several certifications. In 2022, they obtained certifications such as Virtuoso Layout Design Basics vIC6.1.8 Exam, SKILL Development of Parameterized Cells vIC6.1.7 Exam, and SKILL Language Programming Introduction vIC6.1.8 Exam from Cadence Design Systems. Angelina also completed certifications in Exploratory Data Analysis and Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving from SAS in 2022. Furthermore, in 2021, Angelina completed the Virtuoso Schematic Editor vIC6.1.8/ICADVM20.1 Exam from Cadence Design Systems. In 2020, they passed the C2 Proficiency exam at Grade A from Cambridge Assessment English. Lastly, in 2018, they obtained the Introduction to Data Science certification from WorldQuant University.
