Matthew Voorhees has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew started their career as a Radar Repair Technician in the US Army, where they serviced and repaired military radar systems. Matthew then joined the Texas Army National Guard as an Electronics Shop Supervisor, overseeing electronic repairs and client requests. After that, they worked as a Front Office Manager at Crisp Analytical Labs, LLC, where they managed office operations and ensured accurate reporting of test results.

In 2012, Voorhees transitioned to the role of Material Planner at Eclipse Electronic Systems, where they assisted in scheduling and material control. Matthew then became a Material Control Specialist at BAE Systems, responsible for material movements and implementing LEAN strategies. Matthew continued their career as a Process Engineering Quality at Krypton Solutions, where they verified customer data for successful order completion.

Voorhees then joined Sanmina as a Production Supervisor, overseeing repair and production lines for cellular radio systems. Matthew managed work flow and material transfers, among other responsibilities. After that, they worked as a Manufacturing and Process Engineer at Zentech Manufacturing, participating in supplier qualification and defining packaging methods for new product introductions.

Most recently, Voorhees worked as a Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer at Celestica, programming and maintaining shop floor systems, analyzing KPIs, and improving process flows. Throughout their career, Voorhees has demonstrated a strong focus on process improvement, supplier collaboration, and team leadership.

Matthew Voorhees obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Technical Management from DeVry University between 2010 and 2013. Before that, they had completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Collin College from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Matthew has obtained several certifications, including the IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies Certification and the IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum Certification, both from IPC, in January 2020 and November 2019, respectively. Matthew also holds the IPC J-STD-001 Certification from the same institution in November 2019. Furthermore, Matthew obtained the AES International Export Training certification from the US Department of Commerce, NTIA, in 2014.
