Tony Gonzalez has extensive experience in the field of analytical development and management. Tony began their career in 1993 as a Technician at Colgate Palmolive, where they were responsible for making new soap formulations for evaluation and performing stability and performance evaluations. In 1994, they joined Dragoco as an Analytical Chemist, where they tested essential oils and raw materials using GC and performed various wet methods. Tony was also a Technician in the Sample Laboratory, responsible for making personal care bases and incorporating new fragrances for evaluation. In 1995, they became an Analytical Chemist at Coty, where they developed and wrote new Analytical test methods for testing raw materials and finished products, and tested finished products to establish specification ranges. In 1999, they joined Purdue Pharma L.P. as an Associate Senior Scientist. In 2001, they joined Xcelience, LLC as a Chemist/Scientist, where they developed and evaluated methods for assay and related substances, dissolution and chiral methods, and qualified/validated methods. Tony was also a Team Leader, responsible for working on various projects simultaneously for multiple clients and overseeing and developing a group of 5+ chemists/scientists. In 2015, they joined Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Manager Analytical R&D, where they managed two groups responsible for method development and validation projects for HPLC assay and related substances, dissolution and chiral analysis to support IND, NDA and ANDA projects, and managed a group that performed raw material evaluation of both new APIs and excipients. Tony was also a Project Manager, responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously from early Phase 1 through first commercial production for OTC and Rx products. In 2018, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Manager, Analytical Development, Manager, Analytical Development, and Supervisor. Currently, they are the Director of Analytical at Loyal/Cellular Longevity, a position they have held since 2022.
Tony Gonzalez attended Kean University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
