Cheryl Gomillion, Ph.D., currently serves as an Associate Professor at The University of Georgia since January 2015. In addition to this role, Cheryl Gomillion is the Co-Director of the Diversity & Inclusion Program at Cell Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT) and has served as Co-Director of the UGA Enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Educational Diversity (ESTEEMED) program since July 2021. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at Yale School of Medicine and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where research focused on engineered tooth replacements and adipose tissue engineering, respectively. Education accomplishments include a PhD, MS, and BS in Bioengineering and Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University.
