Dünya Baradari

Dünya Baradari has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2019, they worked as a Transition Mentor at UCL and also carried out Data Analysis at UCL Cortexlab. Additionally, Dünya was the Founder and Project Lead of the UCL Team at Hult Prize at UCL, where they developed a sustainable fertilizer solution and won funding for their project. They also participated in Kickstart Global's 2019 Cohort, receiving business coaching and seminars. Dünya further extended their research project and conducted experiments as a Research Project and Bachelor Thesis at UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. In 2021, they worked as the Lead Analyst and Editor for The Builder's Guide to the Tech Galaxy, collaborating with industry experts to write a guidebook on scaling up start-ups. In the same year, Dünya founded and led E-Rey, an organization focusing on recycling and sustainable living, creating interactive workshops and teaching materials. In 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at muffin, contributing to digitalizing insurance brokering and refining the company's KPIs and value proposition. Dünya's most recent role was as a Software Developer at Cellbricks GmbH, where they developed software for a 3D-bioprinter and set up UX research.

Dünya Baradari has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study and institutions.

In 2009, Dünya completed their German Abitur (Baccalaureat) at Gymnasium. This was their high school education.

From 2017 to 2020, Dünya attended UCL where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Neuroscience.

During their gap year in 2020-2021, Dünya pursued two different Bachelor of Science degrees simultaneously. They studied Computational Engineering Science at RWTH Aachen University and Philosophy at The University of Bonn.

In 2021, Dünya enrolled at Leipzig University to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics, which they are currently undertaking without a specified end date.

Additionally, in 2022, Dünya obtained a Diploma in Web Development from BrainStation.

Dünya has also obtained several certifications throughout their education. They completed an Introduction to Agent-Based Modeling course from the Santa Fe Institute in July 2021. In August 2020, Dünya participated in the European Forum Alpbach with a scholarship. In June 2019, they participated in the EU-Russia Student Conference. Dünya also achieved the First Dan Taekwondo certification from the World Taekwondo Federation in June 2017. Lastly, in September 2016, they obtained the Foreign Correspondence Clerk English-German certification from the Industrie- und Handelskammer (Chambers of Commerce & Industry).
