Casper van der Ven

Casper van der Ven's work experience includes serving as a Team Lead and Senior Scientist at Cellbricks GmbH, where they coordinated a team of scientists in the development of 3D biofabricated tissue constructs for academic and industry partners. Casper also worked as a PhD Student at UMC Utrecht, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Harvard Medical School, focusing on various research projects. Additionally, they gained experience as a Visiting Researcher at MIT and a Graduate Research Student at UMC Utrecht.

Casper van der Ven has a strong academic background in the field of Regenerative Medicine and Technology. Casper completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from University College Utrecht in 2011. During their undergraduate years, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Jacobs University Bremen in 2011 and Macquarie University in 2007-2008.

Simultaneously, Casper also pursued another Ph.D. degree at Utrecht University from 2015 to 2020, focusing on the same field of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
